How this website and our inventory app handle information.

Browsing this catalogue

This website displays product photographs, descriptions and asking prices. It has no customer accounts, contact forms, online checkout or advertising trackers added by Shakes Secondhands. We do not request Google access from catalogue visitors.

Hosting and external services

This site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. When you follow a WhatsApp or Facebook link, you use that provider’s service and its privacy practices apply.

Enquiries and transactions

If you contact us, we receive the contact details and messages you choose to share. We use them to answer enquiries, arrange collections and manage sales. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through this website. We do not sell enquiry information.

Private Google inventory connection

Our business administrator authorises a private inventory-management app to access Google Sheets and the Google Drive files used in our workflow. It reads and updates stock records, prices, sale status and related photo records. The requested permissions are Google Sheets and Google Drive access limited to files used with the app (drive.file).

The app uses AI-assisted business tools operated for Shakes Secondhands. Relevant inventory information may be processed by the configured AI service providers to carry out authorised tasks. Access credentials and private inventory records are kept on the business’s private server, not in these website files. This catalogue publishes only selected product information and photos, not purchase costs or private notes. Publication is a separate step; this site does not directly connect visitors to the private spreadsheet.

Retention and control

We keep business correspondence and sales records while needed for business and applicable record-keeping purposes. The administrator can revoke the inventory app’s Google access through their Google Account. To ask about information we hold, request a correction or request deletion, contact us on WhatsApp at +27 74 656 3294. Some records may need to be retained for applicable obligations.
